Jeremy Jones is not your typical attorney. With over two decades of experience in litigation, transactional law, and dispute resolution, he has built a reputation for blending sharp legal acumen with a strategist’s finesse.

A graduate of Fordham University and the University of San Francisco School of Law, Jeremy’s legal foundation is steeped in Jesuit principles—intellectual rigor, ethical advocacy, and an unrelenting pursuit of justice. He further honed his expertise in International and Comparative Civil Law at Oxford University. Later, Jeremy served as adjunct faculty at the University of New Mexico, where he taught Business Ethics and Business Law to undergraduate students seeking business-related undergraduate degrees.

Jeremy’s law career began in San Francisco, where he worked tirelessly defending professionals in malpractice cases and litigating complex civil litigation in state and federal courts. Later, as a partner at the Sommer Udall Law Firm (formerly known as Sommer Udall Hardwick & Jones), he built a respectable practice representing businesses, real estate developers, financial institutions, and professionals in matters where the stakes were high and the margins for error were nonexistent.

Later he co-founded Berg & Walsh LLC (formerly known as Berg, Jones & Walsh, PA) where he cultivated a practice delivering sound legal strategies and opportunities. His clients don’t just seek legal representation; they rely on his frank advice, ability to communicate effectively, foresee challenges, craft innovative solutions, and—when necessary, litigate on their behalf. Most importantly, to do so by proceeding in earnest toward resolution and closing matters without unnecessary delay.

Now, as the co-founder of Richter Jones (RJ LAW LLC), Jeremy is shaping a modern law firm designed for those who demand both excellence and attention. Together with his law partner, David Richter, he is redefining what it means to be a legal advocate. Specializing in commercial law, corporate and partnership transactions, complex commercial transactions, real estate, probate and trust disputes, among many other areas of practice, the team at Richter Jones takes a no-nonsense approach to legal problem-solving—strategic, methodical, and always one step ahead.

When he’s not practicing, Jeremy enjoys a passion for fine art, philosophy, and the great outdoors.
